We've been busy this week with the launch of Draftsgiving and our writing groups. Thank you all for your amazing feedback. We've made a raft of changes. Please keep ideas and feedback coming.
Improved the share image to let you customise what you share.
Your Draftsgiving total now updates as soon as you open the page after writing, with no delay.
Your total now reflects every change you make to your project, including cuts and archived sections, so it always matches your manuscript. If it ever dips below where you started, a short "Why is my total negative?" note explains what happened.
If you switch your Draftsgiving project your historical progress will still show on your tracking charts.
Archiving a section in your Draftsgiving project now asks you first, since it changes your total. Importing into your Draftsgiving project tells you the imported words will count.
You can now join Draftsgiving by importing a manuscript. Pick Import a project in the Join window and your starting total is set once the import is in.
The habits and goals card in the Flow widget now shows your habit, your project goal, and Draftsgiving together, each with its own pin. Draftsgiving is pinned for you on your event project by default.
The event page now lists every public group, and the group feed is tidier.
Writing groups:
Group tables and leaderboards load faster.
Group owners can now delete a group.
The Writing Groups page now shows how many public and private groups there are, and you can start a private group straight from there.
Official Draftsgiving tables have their own card, with other groups listed beside it.
Group rows are easier to read on a phone.
The Draftsgiving pin in the Flow widget now shows on your event project even if you've pinned a goal on another project.
"Show more" in the group tables no longer repeats a group when the table changes.
