• Writing groups:

  • Groups can now be private or public.

  • Groups can now require approval or be open for joining.

  • Group owners can now approve membership.

  • Private groups now stay out of public lists, unless explicitly chosen.

  • Groups can be reported to the Novlr team.

  • You can now join a group straight from the All groups table on the Writing Groups page.

  • The "Join a private group" modal now has clearer instructions.

  • On the Draftsgiving page, "Your groups" now shows the official table you joined, not just the groups you created or joined with a code.

🪲 Bug Fixes

• Fixed profile photos not showing for writers whose photo file name included an ampersand.
