An input form with the option to upload a picture and enter information about your character(s). The example I am basing this off is coming from Novel Factory. Something like that would help to flesh out characters prior to writing a new story.
It could be expanded over time with locations and a section for the worldbuilding related history.

This would be fantastic. Having a place to document characters and their information independently of the story would clean up my story writing greatly!
Yes characters and world building, and because there is no search function I cannot find where I may have said something about a character....
yWriter has a function like this, which is useful for keeping track of basic things like eye colour (for example). It can also automatically tell you which chapters the character appears in. I love Novlr's lack of unnecessary (and distracting) features, but this one could be worth investigating.
