Is it not just like you the writer reading it out loud, but worse? As a writer doing it yourself, you can quickly test changing tones for optimally landing the effect you want. Getting an AI to do this feels like not only undifferentiated but also environmentally irresponsible. But hey, I read in the comments that some people are even paying other tools for that JTBD. So I guess it has some user value. But the environmental argument stands. :)
Models It's important to note that if we had this feature, it wouldn't be using a generative AI model. It would be a feature similar to the text to speech features that most electronic devices have for accessibility (and have had for decades), so it would not be the environmentally destructive technology that we've come to associate with GenAI.

Text to speech would be very helpful. If it was in Novlr, I would use it all the time.
Same here, i'm paying to get it read aloud. I'll more than pleased to be able to get it on here even if we'd have to pay a bit more in the subscruiptions plans. You'll get much more people :)
I pay for speechify to do this for me, but if I didn't have to, that would be amazing.
